Carlo Casap (27), the former midfielder of Farul, has already parted ways with KF Prishtina e Re, less than two months after his transfer to Kosovo. The footballer announced his departure through a message published on social networks.
Casap posted on Insta Story a photo in the shirt of the Kosovar band, accompanied by the message: “Thank you! Goodbye!“, a clear sign of the end of collaboration.
Short transfer in Kosovo
On November 25, Carlo Casap was officially presented as the new player of KF Prishtina e Re, a team in last place in the Kosovo championship. However, his experience was extremely short.
In the Kosovar formation, the Romanian midfielder ticked off 3 matches, without scoring, but managed a decisive assist in the Kosovo National Cup. KF Prishtina e Re currently occupies the last position with 15 points after 18 matches.
Path marked by accidents
A product of the Gheorghe Hagi Academy, Carlo Casap, born in Timișoara, arrived at the Constanta group in 2012. Although considered a talented player, he failed to establish himself in the long term, being affected by injuries and lack of continuity.
In the last decade, Casap also evolved as a loan to Concordia Chiajna and FC Botoșani, and at the end of August it finally parted ways with Farul.
With Gheorghe Hagi's team, Carlo Casap won two Romanian championship titles:
-
2016-2017, when the club was called Viitorul Constanța
-
2022-2023, with the Constanta Lighthouse
His record also includes the Romanian Cup, won in the 2018-2019 season. In the 2024-2025 season, Casap played in 21 matches for Farul, in all competitions, scoring one goal.
