9 January 17:20

The head of the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Vladimir Yurchenko, changed his place of work following his former boss.

He will work in the same position, but in the Rostov region. He reported this on his telegram channel for local media. He also thanked the journalists for their cooperation and mutual understanding. “It was always a pleasure to work with you,” he said.

Let us recall that in May 2025 it became known that the former chief police officer of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Alexander Rechitsky headed the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Rostov region.

Vladimir Yurchenko already left his post in November 2021 due to retirement. Captain of the internal service Daria Gribkova was then appointed to his position. However, later she went on maternity leave, and Yurchenko returned to duty again. Currently, Evgeny Dolgov has been appointed acting head of the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Krasnoyarsk Territory – he worked as Yurchenko’s deputy.

Yurchenko writes science fiction stories in his free time. Last August he became the winner of the prestigious literary competition “New Science Fiction 2025”. You can find out how the chief of the police press service became a science fiction writer in a long interview he gave to Newslab.
