On the afternoon of January 8, a fatal accident occurred in the Emelyanovsky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory at 784 km of the R-255 Siberia highway.
According to the traffic police, a 54-year-old female driver was driving a Hyundai Accent from Achinsk in the direction of Krasnoyarsk, thoughtlessly drove into the lane for oncoming traffic, where she collided with a Volvo truck with a semi-trailer.
As a result of the accident, the lady driver died. DTraffic on the section is carried out reversely, along one lane towards Krasnoyarsk.
The traffic police reminded that driving into the oncoming lane must be done with extreme caution.: “80% of head-on collisions are fatal. Always consider road and weather conditions when choosing your speed.”
