At only 46 years old, the former top coach quit football and took a job at McDonald's

Usually, coaches who manage to reach high in their careers either remain in the phenomenon or become sports analysts. This is not the case with Alexander Nouri, who at the age of 46 decided to work at the well-known McDonald's fast food restaurant chain.

A former head coach in the Bundesliga, he graduated from the German coaching school in 2016, together with promotion manager Julian Nagelsmann, the current “Panzers” coach. Then he took over Werder Bremen at a time when the team was in relegation, but after a comeback (11 matches in a row without defeat, of which 9 wins) he was ready to even grab the European cups.
He worked with the players, now he's doing it with the employees
Alexander Nouri then moved to Ingolstadt, Hertha Berlin, was second coach of the United States of America national team, and 4 years ago he arrived in Greece, at AO Kavala. Since leaving the Greek team, the German has not found any commitment in football, which is why he decided to pursue a new career.
Since this year, the former coach has become the manager of two fast-food restaurants in Herzogenrath, a small town in North Rhine-Westphalia, and he does not regret the step taken. “Both worlds mean knowing how to work with people. In football there are the players, here there are the employees. I'm not going to go there and say: I know how it works. I'm here to learn. But the basic principle is the same: you have to understand who is in front of you, what motivates them and what they need to perform”said Alexander Nouri, according to Suddeutsche Zeitung.
