Fine of 3500 euros for Petar Mijovic, after swearing at the referees

The clash in the BTarena recorded a tense moment in which Petar Mijovic, the visitors' coach, lost his temper. He swore at the 3 referees from Serbia, Vladimir Tomic, Aleksandar Milojevic and Vladimir Veskovic, being extremely nervous.

10 days after that episode, the disciplinary sanction given to the 40-year-old coach appeared on the official website of the ABA League. For violating several articles of the disciplinary code, Hrvoje Vidan, the ABA disciplinary judge, fined Petar Mijovic 3,500 euros.

At the end of the game, the former technician of Buducnost and Slask Wroclaw had a much more temperate speech, he praised the team from Cluj, listed the positive aspects of his team's game and did not talk about the refereeing at all.

“First of all, I want to congratulate the team from Cluj. They played very well, made many difficult throws and brought a lot of energy, and in the end they deservedly won. I think we played a solid game as well, except for the first quarter when we came in a little soft.

Otherwise, I am satisfied with certain moments of our game, especially taking into account the value of the opponent”, declared Mijovic.

At the moment, with a record of two wins and 10 losses, SC Derby is in last place in Group A of the Adriatic League.
