There was panic in Portugal at the duel between Atlético and Académica in the 15th round of Serie B in the Portuguese League 3. The match was marked by the collapse of a wall of the Tapadinha stadium in the area reserved for the visiting team's supporters, who were celebrating the first goal of the favourites.

The unfortunate event, which resulted in two people being injured, took place after António Montez equalized in the 40th minute.

Miguel Barandas opened the scoring for the home team in the 27th minute, and Antonio Montez equalized in the 39th minute, when the wall collapsed, according to abola.pt.

The wall gave way as dozens of away fans chanted for the team, collapsing onto the turf. The Académica players reacted immediately and went to the away supporters' area from Tapadinha to offer help.

The collapse of the structure caused injuries to two of the spectators, and one of them was seriously injured and required medical attention.

The match continued on the field, ending with the victory of Académica, score 4-1, who scored three times later, through Cascavel, in minutes 45+6, 48 and 52.
