The victim is a 20-year-old student of the school, and the facts allegedly happened on the night of December 18 to 19, 2025, right in the duty officer's office. The incident took place during a sensitive period, when students were taking practical tests to complete their studies, writes libertata.

According to the investigators, everything would have started from a minor incident, generated by a student in a state of vulnerability. The chief commissioner allegedly called three students to his office, under the pretext of clarifying the situation. After a short discussion, he would have asked them to retire to their bedrooms, but changed his mind and asked one of the students to stay.

At that moment, the victim claims, the officer would have made indecent proposals, and when the young man categorically refused, he would have resorted to physical aggression, touching him in the intimate area and trying to prevent him from leaving the room. During the altercation, he allegedly broke the buttons on his pants.

The student managed to escape citing a pretext and took refuge in the dormitory room, where he told his classmates what happened. At their urging, the class leader announced.

The messages that incriminated the officer

The official notification was made on December 19, and the school management later informed the Prahova County Police Inspectorate. The file was initially opened at the Prosecutor's Office attached to the Câmpina Court, but was taken over by the Prosecutor's Office attached to the Prahova Court, considering the rank of the suspect.

According to the quoted source, the investigation was a difficult one, due to the lack of direct witnesses and physical evidence. The decisive element was represented by a series of messages with explicit content, sent by the chief commissioner to the victim immediately after the incident. These were kept on the student's phone and were the key evidence that led to the officer's arrest.

Ion Laurentiu Iordan was detained on December 26, a week after the alleged act, during which he continued to report to work. In the meantime, he has been under technical surveillance as investigators hope to obtain additional evidence.

Secret internal document, on social networks

The case generated a second criminal case, after a photo of the event file appeared in the public space – an internal document, strictly confidential, containing sensitive data about the victim and the alleged aggressor, including CNPs and addresses.

The prosecutor's office attached to the Prahova Court opened an investigation for the disclosure of information not intended for publicity, a crime punishable by up to seven years in prison.

Who is the chief commissioner Ion Laurentiu Iordan

At the age of 49, Ion Laurențiu Iordan is one of the oldest employees of the Câmpina school and a graduate of the institution, class of 1998. He previously worked in operative structures in Prahova county and, since 2001, he has been assigned to the school.
