The former player from Dinamo retired, at only 29 years old: “You don't know anything!”

Andrei Blejdea, former left winger from Dinamo, announced his retirement from football at only 29 years old. He last played at Jiul Petroșani, in League 3.
Blejdea was released from contract in December. He will no longer play professional football and announced his retirement in a message on social media. Andrei graduated from the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport, also having a master's degree in the field, taken in 2022.

“My last day in football! I have no idea how good I was, but I know I gave it my all. You? Do you know how much it hurts? You know nothing! Happy birthday! And thank you football for everything”Blejdea wrote on Facebook.
Blejdea has 12 matches in Dinamo's jersey, 10 in the Superliga and two in the Romanian Cup. In total, he has 21 games in League 1. In League 2 he played 122 games and scored 29 goals. He also dished out 28 assists.

Brought up in Dinamo's academy, Blejdea left the country in 2014, when he signed with the Swiss FC Wil 1900. A year later he went to Domzale, and then played on loan at Zarica Kranj. In 2016 he signed with Braunschweig II, and in 2017 he returned to Romania, to Click.
In 2018 it reached The Pandasand a year later he went to FC Argeș. to Dinamo returned in 2021, free of contract. In January 2022 it was transferred to U Clujand in July he signed with Hermannstadt. Brief adventures followed at Buzau and Chindiaand in September 2023 it reached the fourth Italian league, at Tritium.
After 3 months he signed with PDHAE, another amateur team from Italy. In 2024 he returned to the country, playing for Bistrita. It also evolved to Union Dej and Jiul Petroșani before announcing his retirement.
