The first information published by international news agencies based on ground data shows that the US Air Force bombed several targets in the capital Caracas and its surroundings, as well as other military targets in Venezuela.
El Pais reports that initial reports indicate several airstrikes on the Fuerte Tiuna military base, the main airbase of Caracas, located south of the Venezuelan capital, which has been completely without power. A massive fire was visible in the distance in the first few minutes after the explosions, followed by a huge cloud of gray smoke.

The Venezuelan government has accused the United States of “military aggression” in civilian and military areas of Caracas and the states of Miranda, Aragua and La Guaira.
