The current Premier League season has brought many twists and turns and remarkable statistics, both in terms of results and club performances. However, one statistic from this competitive season stands out: two teams from the strongest championship in the world are undefeated at home.

Two teams turned their stadiums into real “fortresses”. The first of them is Arsenal, not being a big surprise that the leaders of the championship have not lost a game at the Emirates. The second team is a surprise: newly-promoted Sunderland have a perfect run at the 'Stadium of Light' in the 2025-2026 season

Arsenal and surprise Sunderland are the unbeaten teams at home in the Premier League

Arsenal and Sunderland are the only teams that have not allowed any opponent to walk away with the precious three points of victory.

“The Gunners” are the leaders of the standings at the moment and have the best defense in the English championship. In 19 stages they conceded only 12 goals, of which only 5 at home. At home, the “gunners” achieved important points: equal with title rival Manchester City, a crushing victory over rival Tottenham, score 4-1. Even more, the home unbeaten streak dates back to May 3rd, which is last season. Then the “gunners” lost to those from Bournemouth, score 1-2

The surprise is Sunderland. The team that promoted this season in the first echelon and has a more than honorable performance. “At home” the supporters create an incredible atmosphere, and this is also seen in the team's game: 7th place with 29 points accumulated in 19 stages. At the “Stadium of light”, Sunderland drew with Manchester City, score 0-0, leader Arsenal, score 2-2, Aston Villa or Crystal Palace. They haven't won against any “Big Six” team at home, but they haven't lost against the main title contenders either. The most important victory was the one in the match against the mortal rivals Newcastle, score 1-0.

The promoted team this season will host matches against Tottenham, Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea at home.
