“Juventus is pleased to announce the appointment of Marco Ottolini as the club's new Sporting Director. Ottolini officially joined the Bianconeri organization on January 1, 2026, reporting directly to Chief Executive Damien Comolli. Marco Ottolini brings with him a wealth of experience, accumulated over time in various roles in the world of football.
Born in 1980, after ending his playing career in 2002, he immediately chose to embark on a managerial career, accumulating experience that allowed him to develop a deep understanding of the dynamics of professional football.
In 2015, he began an important experience at Anderlecht, contributing to the structuring and development of the Belgian club's scouting activities. His first experience with Juventus came in 2018 when he joined the international scouting department.
For the next four years, he was mainly responsible for monitoring loan players and relations with international clubs, keeping a close eye on the progress of players under contract with the club, especially those playing abroad. During this first spell at the Bianconeri, which ended in 2022, he also contributed to the initial stages of the second team project.
After a professional career in which he played an important role at Genoa, Marco Ottolini now faces a new challenge in Turin. His return to Juventus, this time in the role of sporting director, is a natural step in his career, built on expertise, vision and in-depth knowledge of Italian and international football,” Juventus said on the club's website.
