Cătălin Cîrjan (23 years old), Dinamo's captain, spoke about the time he played for Arsenal.
While playing for the “gunners”, Cîrjan suffered several injuries that affected his presence at the London club. The young Romanian player said that David Luiz helped him with numerous tips.
David Luiz helped Cătălin Cîrjan with advice
Cătălin Cîrjan suffered a serious knee injury in April 2021 and his time on the sidelines was eased by former Arsenal defender David Luiz. The Brazilian played a key role in helping the young Romanian return to form after a second serious knee injury.
“I had a very good relationship with David Luiz. He helped me a lot when I had my injuries. He had an extraordinary experience, he told me about the secrets of football.
The most important advice is to believe in God, because he will change any situation. Then I had a very difficult time with the injury and I didn't know what to do. It helped me a lot to tell me that“, said Cătălin Cîrjan, according to orangesport.ro.
Cătălin Cîrjan arrived at Arsenal in 2019, after leaving Viitorul Domnești. The Romanian, however, did not manage to make the step to the big team of the “gunners”, although he trained and was even a reserve on the bench of the big team.
Luiz left Arsenal in June 2021 after Mikel Arteta decided not to renew his contract.
