University of Craiova has already set his first goals in the winter mercato, and among them is also Andrei Coubisaged 22, central defender on loan from AC Milan to Sampdoria, in Serie B. According to GSP, the officials from Banie are in discussions for a loan with an option to buy.
The stopper was wanted by Dinamo in the summer and in recent weeks he entered the U Cluj's radar, but he refused to give a definite answer until now, being reluctant about coming to the Superliga.

Andrei Coubiș has not logged a single minute for the Genoese outfit this season and is set to return to AC Milan for the second part of the season, as Sampdoria do not intend to pay the permanent transfer clause, which GSP recently reported.
Therefore, the officials from the University of Craiova initiated a dialogue with the Rossoneri, who have no claims in the situation of a loan, as the Oltenians want. Instead, for a permanent transfer, the Lombard club requests the sum of 100,000 euros.

In the “groping” discussions, the stopper born in Italy to Romanian parents requested a monthly salary of 15,000 euros. The 1.89-meter defender can also play on the right side of the defense and is under contract with AC Milan until June 2027.

The defender was caught visiting the room of two Italian players, colleagues from AC Milan Primavera, staying in the same hotel. The episode was interpreted by members of the federal staff as a suspicious and inappropriate gesture before the direct confrontation. The game ended with the victory of Italy, score 2-1.

Coubiș made his debut for Romania U21 in 2022, in a friendly match with the Netherlands (0-0), but later refused the calls, expressing his desire to represent Italy. In 2023, he was called up to the U20 national team of “Squadre Azzurra”, for the Elite League matches against Norway and Germany, but he did not get to play and, until now, he has no selection.
