It's the second year after I left football in this position and I'm glad that Dinamo is in a situation like it hasn't been in a long time. He is in 4th place, but only two points behind the leader. Which is very good. I hope they have as good a run and, why not, there are title hopes. It's not easy, but not impossible either.

– First of all, can Dinamo still miss the play-off?
– I don't see how! Besides the difference in points, the game is also a good one. Plus the team will be strengthened and have a more consistent game. The play-off is a very… I would say sure. The fight for the championship remains to be seen. I would be very happy to reach the European cups.

I say that in 2026 the teams will be much more motivated, especially those that still have a chance at the play-offs. All matches will be more tense and harder. The chances of winning the championship are 20-30 percent. Let's say 50 percent, but it depends on what transfers will be made.

– What does Dinamo have to buy? Realistically speaking, knowing that it is difficult to make efficient transfers in the winter.
– Hard, but not impossible. From what I have observed, there are people who are busy and have done good things, and I congratulate them, because I know how much work and how much expense is behind it. There are solutions, not like in the summer, but it can be found, because we are talking about Dinamo, tradition, temptation, club with supporters.

– In which positions should players be brought in urgently?
– In the central area, defender, midfielder and, above all, top. It is their analysis, of those in charge, they know better where to improve things.

– Which footballer from League 1 would you bring to Dinamo if you could?
– There are many, many quality players in League 1. And the Romanians have started to be more present, numerically and qualitatively. Many from League 1, brought up at Dinamo. Some 7-8 were brought up during the time when I had the reins of the club. It is important to invest in the training of Romanian footballers. I won't venture into giving names, we have our own who are OK. Valuables in League 1 are hard to come by. If you're going to take it, you're still looking abroad. Maybe to France, which has the best football school, there they can be found…

– Do you have a favorite football player at Dinamo?
– I have always refrained from naming players. They all have their role, even if some stand out. Dinamo's coach (no. Zeljko Kopic) should be noted. I don't know whose idea it was to bring him in, but he did a very good job. A serious man, a good professional. The coach matters a lot.

– But the coach could also leave, if he has a very good offer. Do you think he will close the season at Dinamo?
– I think he could have left… There were other moments, but they knew how to hold him. It is important to continue the project with him. He built well at Dinamo, there were difficult times, when the club was insolvent, but, look!, a performance was made. Yes, the temptation of money is also important, but performance also matters for those who respect themselves. I think there will be no problems with the coach, it would be a shame. I don't think he could leave, period.

– Yes. He has to play somewhere. The best thing is when a club has its own stadium and it's home, it's a big advantage. In the spring, it happens out of necessity. Psychologically, and not only, it is very important for the team.

– You have shown your dislike for FCSB many times, are you still happy when that team doesn't win or lose?
– I wouldn't want it to seem like I'm enjoying someone else's misfortune, but what's clear is that I have a great sympathy for Dinamo and, likewise, antipathy for the great rival. But, overall, I would be happy for Romanian football to progress.

She is not a clear favorite for the title. It's a balanced championship, it will be interesting to see what happens. I would like Dinamo to win the championship, for the rest, let us be healthy, let there be peace and quiet
