According to him, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, together with the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and “other interested structures,” have developed a new type of contract.
“The soldier who will conclude [такой] contract – and its terms are very flexible – will receive a decent salary, which, let’s say, will be at least three times greater than the current established level,” Syrsky said.
He stressed that additional payments, including bonuses, will be maintained.
“We have been working on this contract for a long time. And as I understand it, it is somewhere on the way out,” the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine emphasized.
