Russians are facing a shortage of Moroccan tangerines for the New Year, reports Parliamentary Gazette. The supply of tangerines from Morocco has practically stopped this year due to the difficult political situation and sanctions.
“Fruits are becoming more expensive, and buyers are starting to refuse them. The same thing happened last season with bananas and apples, when, due to rising prices, their consumption in the country decreased, and quite seriously,” the experts concluded.
