Barcelona resume talks for the transfer of the Juventus star

The management of the Catalan giant has already held the first discussions regarding the possibility of transferring the striker, according to the Spanish newspaper Marca.
Barcelona want Dusan Vlahovic
The Serbian international's contract with the Turin club expires at the end of the season, making him an even more attractive target in the transfer market. The Catalans are looking for a long-term replacement for Lewandowski, whose current contract also runs until June 2026 and includes an option to extend for another season.
The main option for Barcelona is to negotiate the transfer of Vlahovic as a free agent. However, it is not out of the question that the Spanish club could try to sign the 25-year-old as early as the January transfer window for a cut fee, although this is unlikely given that the former Fiorentina star will not be available until March 2026 after undergoing surgery to repair his left tendon earlier this month.

The Catalan club have been looking for a possible replacement for Lewandowski, whose future is still uncertain, and interest in the Serb has been growing for some time. Flick sees Ferran Torres as an indispensable striker, but the Pole's departure would leave a void that the club's management want to fill with a top player, and the market does not offer as many opportunities as Vlahovic, with the club expressing an interest in the striker's services for some time.
The Serbian was transferred by Juventus from Fiorentina in 2022, for the amount of 83 million euros. In the “Old Lady” shirt, he played 162 games and scored 62 times.
Vlahovic has struggled with form and fitness this season, scoring just three goals in Serie A and the Champions League. He also suffered a tendon injury and will not be back on the pitch until at least March 2026.
