Residents of the Krasnoyarsk Territory will be able to undergo a comprehensive medical examination during the New Year holidays, namely January 2, 5, 8 and 11, the regional Ministry of Health reported.

Free examination is available to all Russian citizens over 18 years of age. The Ministry of Health reminded that from 18 to 39 years of age, medical examination should be carried out every three years, and from 40 years of age – every year.

In the coming year 2026, those born in 1986 and earlier, as well as those born in 1987, 1990, 1993, 1996, 1999, 2002, 2005 and 2008, are expected to undergo medical examinations. You can sign up from the beginning of the year, no need to wait for your birthday. You can undergo medical examination yourself by making an appointment at a convenient time at the clinic.

Clinical examination includes questionnaires, preventive medical examinations and examinations that help assess health status and identify possible chronic non-communicable diseases, as well as risk factors for their development. Since 2024, as part of the medical examination, an in-depth examination of reproductive health for the population of reproductive age (18-49 years) is also available.

“Starting the year with a medical examination is a strategically wise decision. This is an investment in productivity, activity and well-being for all the coming months. Early identification of risk factors or initial stages of diseases is 90% of success in their treatment. Don’t put off your health until later, because it is the foundation for all your plans and achievements in the new year 2026,” say specialists from the Krasnoyarsk Regional Prevention Center.

Over the past 11 months of 2025 in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, 1.6 million people underwent medical examinations and preventive examinations. This is 20.4% more than last year. According to the Krasnoyarsk Regional Center for Public Health and Medical Prevention, during the clinical examination, more than 12 thousand cases of diseases of the cardiovascular system, more than 30 thousand diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, and more than 13 thousand cases of diabetes were discovered. Almost 3 thousand diseases of the respiratory system and more than 13 thousand malignant neoplasms were also identified.

“Thanks to the timely detection of pathologies, it is possible to begin treatment in a timely manner, which significantly increases the chances of successful treatment and significantly improves the quality of life,” the Ministry of Health of the Krasnoyarsk Territory called for medical examinations.
