Performance to forget for Baba Alhassan (25 years old), the midfielder of the FCSBat the Africa Cup of Nations. Although born in Ghana, his father's country of origin, Baba is also eligible for Uganda, his mother's country of origin. And now he chose to represent this national team.

Uganda drew with Tanzania 1-1 on Saturday in the second stage of the Africa Cup of Nations, group C. The champion's midfielder committed it in the 57th minute when he made a handball in the box and the “central” Jayed dictated a shot from 11 meters.

The phase flowed through a cross from a Tanzanian footballer, which was headed away, and the ball found its way to Kelvin John, who sent a shot from the edge of the box.

The ball was deflected by Alhassan and held by the keeper. In the end, the “central” dictated a shot from 11 meters, converted by Simon Msuva.

6 minutes after Tanzania's success, the Ugandan coach replaced Alhassan with Denis Omedi.

With 10 minutes to go, Uganda restored parity through Uche Ikpeazu. He wasted, however, a shot from 11 meters in extra time of the game, through Allan Okello. It finished 1-1 and Uganda are bottom of Group C with the slimmest chance of qualifying and just one point.

Tanzania is 3rd, also with one point. In the first two places are Nigeria and Tunisia. Uganda still has Nigeria to play in the Africa Cup of Nations on December 30.
