The new mayor of Krasnoyarsk complained about cars that interfere with snow removal in yards

December 27 12:30
The mayor of Krasnoyarsk, Sergei Vereshchagin, complained about courtyards with cars parked that could not be cleared of snow. He instructed to organize informing residents and interacting with the traffic police in order to resolve the issue.
As the new head of the city wrote on his social networks, the reason was a complaint from a resident from Vzlyotka, where they could not clean Oktyabrskaya Street because of cars. Vereshchagin noted that today the equipment came out to clean, but many of the machines were not removed. “Perhaps not everyone received the warning asking them not to park,” the mayor wrote.
He admitted that a similar situation arises in other areas – in Pokrovka, on Pashenny and in Tikhie Zorya. “I instructed to work on interdepartmental cooperation, including with the traffic police, and accurate information to residents. And here it is important that Krasnoyarsk residents meet halfway,” said Vereshchagin.
The mayor emphasized that such problems need to be solved systematically, and not every time in “manual mode.”
