Jose Mourinho (62 years old), the coach of Benfica, got angry at the press conference after Tuesday's success with Famalicao, score 1-0, in the 15th round of the Portuguese championship. He got into a conflict with a journalist.

The only goal of the game was scored by Vangelis Pavlidis, and it came in the 34th minute, after converting a shot from 11 meters.

Despite the victory, “The Special One” kept “smacking the cheek” of a journalist, even before he could ask him a question.

Mourinho reproached the Portuguese journalist for writing a fake article about him, which is why he refused to answer any kind of question.

“You published fake news about me this week. As for the main part of your article, I can clearly tell you that it is false“, said Mourinho, in a visibly irritated tone.

The reporter went ahead and repeated the question, trying to get some clarification. The coach's reply was short and sharp. “You are being punished. I won't answer you. Maybe next week”, Mourinho said, ending the dialogue.

The Benfica coach is known for his outbursts and refusal to tolerate articles or questions he deems incorrect.

Benfica is currently in 3rd place in the Portuguese league with 35 points, 8 behind leaders FC Porto. Sporting, the second-place team, has 38 points.

For Mourinho and Benfica, the away duel with Braga follows on December 28.

In 20 official matches, Mourinho collected 13 wins, 4 draws and 3 defeats.
