Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky may go to negotiations at the residence of US President Donald Trump, Mar-a-Lago, in the coming days. The Kyiv Post wrote about this on December 26, citing unnamed diplomatic sources.
It is expected that Zelensky’s visit to Florida for important negotiations with the US leadership could take place on December 28, “if everything goes according to plan.”
According to the media interlocutor, the most difficult issues in the negotiations on the US “peace plan” to resolve the Russian-Ukrainian war – security guarantees for Ukraine and Russia’s legal obligations – still remain unresolved.
The day before, on December 25, Zelensky said that he had discussed the issue of the likely end to the war of the aggressor country of the Russian Federation against Ukraine with Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff and the US President’s son-in-law Jared Kushner.
