The Krasnoyarsk traffic police regiment switched to an enhanced operating mode. The night before, more than 30 additional crews took to the city roads.

“The squads are aimed at ensuring road safety, suppressing gross traffic violations leading to the creation of an emergency situation, as well as excluding intoxicated drivers from road users. From December 25 and throughout the weekend in different parts of the city, traffic inspectors will conduct continuous checks of drivers for drunk driving,” the traffic police said.
Police ask Krasnoyarsk residents to report drunk drivers by calling the Blue Line (263-10-19) or via chatbot @Alkoline_Krsk_bot.
In addition, in order to ensure the safety of pedestrians, traffic police officers will serve in emergency areas in all districts of Krasnoyarsk.
