A resident of Norilsk recovered more than 4.7 million rubles from an unscrupulous developer through the court. The company ECO-HOUSE LLC did not fulfill its obligations to build a house in Vladikavkaz.
In May last year, the woman entered into a contract with the company, planning to pay for the construction partly with a loan. She made a first payment of 1.5 million rubles, of which 805 thousand were borrowed. However, after a few months, only concrete piles for the foundation were found on the site instead of the promised scope of work.
After the termination of the contract and an unanswered claim, the Norilsk woman turned to the regional department of Rospotrebnadzor for help. Department specialists helped her prepare a statement of claim.
The court fully satisfied the plaintiff’s demands, collecting from the contractor not only the amount paid, but also penalties, fines, interest and damages. The total amount of payments amounted to 4.78 million rubles. The decision has already entered into legal force.
