Igdir FKthe team of right midfielder Dorin Rotariu (30 years old), drew at home with Aliaga, score 2-2, in the Turkish Cup. The Romanian started the game as a reserve, was sent on the field in the 64th minute, and the impact was instant.

The visitors from the third league opened the scoring in the 37th minute, through Veli Cetin. Igdir restored the tie until the break, through Ozder Ozcan (38').
In the 64th minute, coach Ibrahim Uzulmez brought Rotariu onto the field. And the former player from Dinamo and FCSB immediately repaid his trust.
He took an action on his own from the right lane, dribbled two opponents and reached the center, made the ball on his left foot and sent a “bomb” directly into the Aliaga team.
Unfortunately for him and his team, the visitors restored parity in the 90th minute through Ahmet Ozek. It ended 2-2 and Igdir are in 3rd place in Group B of the Turkish Cup with one point.
Genclerbirligi and Konyaspor have 3 each, and the group also includes Aliaga, Samsunspor, Eyupspor, Bodrumspor and Antalyaspor.
Rotariu played 16 games for Igdir this season, during which he scored a goal and provided a decisive assist.
Rotariu's contract with Igdir FK expires at the end of the current season.
Rotariu started football at Poli Timișoara, and in 2013 he reached the senior team of Dinamo, but was sent back on loan to Poli. Upon his return, Dorin Rotariu became a regular at Dinamo where he played for 4 years. In 2017, he left for Club Brugge, and the Belgians paid 2.2 million euros for his transfer.
He later played for Mouscron, Alkmaar, Astana, Ludogorets, Atromitos, FCSB and Ankaragucu before joining Igdir.
