The EGM of PZU authorized the management board to raise claims against Beata Kozłowska-Chyle for compensation for damage caused during her term as president, the insurer said in a statement.

“The claims that the Management Board of PZU SA is entitled and obliged to pursue concern culpable violation of the law and the obligation to exercise due diligence when employing and supervising the work of advisors to the President of the Management Board of PZU SA during the period of execution of the mandate of the President of the Management Board of PZU SA and thus ensuring the disposal of the Company's property,” the EGM wrote in the resolution.

Beata Kozłowska-Chyła was the president of PZU from October 2, 2020 to February 23, 2024. (PAP Business)
