In Krasnoyarsk, the wave of influenza and ARVI has subsided

December 23 12:35

In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the epidemiological situation with influenza and ARVI has stabilized. Over the past week, doctors have registered 20,677 cases of the disease, reports Rospotrebnadzor.

In Krasnoyarsk, the number of ARVI cases decreased by more than 20%. However, in several cities of the region, the incidence, on the contrary, has increased. The highest was noted in Minusinsk, Lesosibirsk and Norilsk – from 12% to 40%.

Laboratory monitoring confirms that influenza A(H3N2) virus remains the most commonly detected virus in the region.

Due to the high incidence rate last week, seven schools in the Krasnoyarsk Territory completely transferred students to distance learning. Another 189 classes in 46 schools in the region also temporarily switched to a remote format.

Experts remind Krasnoyarsk residents of the importance of preventive measures.
