To service a mortgage you need to earn the most in Moscow – about 346 thousand rubles in order to pay 208 thousand rubles a month for a one-room apartment with an average cost of 14 million rubles.
In St. Petersburg, where a new one-room apartment will cost on average 9.5 million rubles, the mortgage payment will be 141 thousand rubles, and the required income will be 235 thousand rubles.
One-room apartments in Voronezh are the cheapest: a salary of about 112 thousand rubles is enough.
