For the first time in 8 years, Russia is completely self-sufficient in potatoes — Rosstat
The level of self-sufficiency was 101%. The country also meets its needs for meat by 101.7%, and for fish by 152.9%.
The values for milk and vegetables turned out to be significantly lower – they are at 86% and 89.1%, respectively.
The lowest level of self-sufficiency in the Russian Federation was recorded in relation to berries and fruits. Last year, Russian producers covered only 44.6% of domestic consumption.
