Amazon Web Services signed a contract worth USD 38 billion to supply computing power to OpenAI; the agreement provides access to hundreds of thousands of Nvidia graphics processors, Bloomberg reported.


The companies announced Monday that Amazon Web Services (AWS) will give maker ChatGPT access to hundreds of thousands of Nvidia Corp. GPUs. under a seven-year contract.
Bloomberg added that the deal is part of OpenAI's plan to spend $1.4 trillion on infrastructure to build and power its AI models, with Amazon's infrastructure expected to underpin OpenAI's AI ambitions.
Under the agreement, OpenAI will begin using AWS computing power immediately, and all target computing power will be made available by the end of 2026, with the possibility of expanding cooperation with AWS in the following years. (PAP Business)
