Cătălin Cîrjan (23 years old), Dinamo's midfielder, came extremely angry to the interview at the end of the game that his team lost it, score 0-2, awayon the field of UTA Arad, in round #21 of the Superliga.

Disappointed, he struggled to find words, knowing his team had squandered a chance to end the year on top. The “winter champion” will be Rapid or Craiova, the only one that can overcome Gâlcă's group in the last stage.

Cîrjan admitted that his team played a very modest match, that there were many mistakes and he wants Dinamo to be high in the ranking and fight for the title in 2026.

The reaction of Cătălin Cîrjan, after the failure with UTA

“It's very disappointing, because we wanted to finish the year in first place. It was a dark night for us. Too many personal mistakes, we didn't connect the game. They wanted more, they were stronger in the duels.

We wanted to score, score at least one goal and go over them, but we couldn't. We had two clear chances, it didn't go in and that was it tonight. I can say that we are in a good situation, but it could be even better.

That's what I want, to fight for the title. As long as we're up, that's what I want.” said Cîrjan after the match, in a flash interview, on the show “Digi Sport Special”, from Digi Sport.
