The investigation of the criminal case has been completed on charges of the former head of the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Krasnoyarsk Territory Andrei Sirotinin of accepting bribes and exceeding official powers, as well as two residents of the regional center for giving bribes.

The investigation established that in the period from February to October 2024, Sirotinin, being the head of the traffic police, together with the head of the department of operational management and information preparation and the technical director of a commercial organization, through an intermediary and personally received 975 thousand rubles as a bribe for assigning registration numbers to 11 cars with specific alphanumeric designations.
In addition, during the period from March to May 2024, Sirotinin gave illegal instructions to his subordinates provide a 64-year-old Krasnoyarsk resident with a guaranteed test for the right to drive a vehicle. In exchange, the man who received his license made repairs for free in the apartment of a high-ranking police officer. for an amount of about 100 thousand rubles.
And in the period from March to July 2024, Sirotinin for a bribe in the form of electrical installation work in his apartment in the amount of about 120 thousand rubles exempted another acquaintance from being held administratively liable for excessive tinting of a car.

Currently, the ex-chief of the regional traffic police is in custody. Bribers are subject to a preventive measure in the form of a ban on certain actions. The criminal case has been sent to the prosecutor's office for approval of the indictment.
And the criminal case against the head of the operational management and information preparation department of the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the technical director of a commercial organization is already being considered in court.
