Mihai Stoica, the president of the Board of Directors of the FCSB club, announced that Daniel Bîrligea will be fit for the derby with Rapid in stage number 21 of the SuperLiga.

The striker has missed the last five matches due to an injury, but the official of the title champion stated that he is ready to return to the squad for the game scheduled for Sunday, from 20:00, at the National Arena.

Daniel Bîrligea, fit for the FCSB derby – Rapid

“The match with Rapid might be good for us. If we take into account the last events and what happened to us these days, it might be good for us.

Today the good news came from Daniel Bîrligea. He has been saying for a few days that he wants to try, today he jumped, hit the ball and the pain is zero out of 10. He will be fit on Sunday (no – with Rapid). With the injured ankle they play, with the knee they don't play.

Don't let anyone risk it, it's a football match. There are nine more in the regular season and we hope that in those nine we get over the line and then another championship begins. For him it's a football match.

Miculescu, no (no – he doesn't play with Rapid). It seems that at the match with Besiktas, in the friendly, it will be”, said Mihai Stoica, according to primasport.ro.

Before the start of the last stage in 2025, FCSB is in 9th place in the SuperLiga standings, with 28 points, while Rapid is the leader, with 39 points.
