Using funds from the “Program of Charity and Sponsorship” of JSC “Boguchanskaya HPP”, the municipal authorities purchased a large set of equipment to equip the rescue service, which will begin work in the summer of 2026. Thus, preparations for the next summer period began in advance: in a popular vacation spot among townspeople on the shore of the Boguchansky Reservoir, the basic infrastructure necessary for the future beach season has already been created.

A mobile building has been installed on the territory, which will house rescue specialists and a medical worker in the summer of 2026. A shady canopy for vacationers is mounted next to it, and warning signs are placed in dangerous places. In the evening, the area around the service premises is illuminated with additional lights, and constant video surveillance of the coastline is organized.

“The city of Kodinsk is located near the shore of the reservoir, so in the summer many townspeople strive to relax by the water. With the active and constant assistance of the Boguchany hydroelectric station, we are doing everything necessary to make the residents of Kodin comfortable and calm, and the “recreation place” to become a full-fledged beach. Thanks to the entire station staff for their contribution to the comfort and safety of the citizens!” – said the head of the Kezhemsky municipal district Oleg Zhelyabin.

The main work on the formation of a full-fledged municipal rescue service will be completed next year – by the start of the summer season 2026. Thanks to an inflatable boat with a motor, the rescuers on duty will be able to ensure the safety of vacationers while on duty in the water area next to the beach. In case of power outages, the service purchased an autonomous gasoline generator. The total cost of the equipment is almost 2 million rubles.

Boguchanskaya HPP regularly provides assistance to local authorities by investing resources in infrastructure and safety – this is one of the priorities of the company’s social policy. In November 2025, in preparation for winter, the station transferred 1,390 tons of washed sand and 1,750 tons of sand and gravel mixture to the district – now the materials are used to ensure the safe movement of residents and cars along the district’s roads. The joint efforts of energy workers and government authorities are aimed at solving various problems in advance and preventing them. Timely delivery of materials will allow municipal services to effectively organize road maintenance work, which is especially important for regions with harsh climates.

The program of charitable and sponsorship activities of the Boguchanskaya HPP is annually formed on the basis of requests from citizens, public organizations, municipal institutions and authorities of the city of Kodinsk and the Kezhemsky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. In 2025, the Charity and Sponsorship Program was increased to 12.2 million rubles. The partners of the Boguchanskaya HPP in the implementation of the program were the municipal authorities of the Kezhemsky district and its constituent settlements, institutions of preschool and additional education, healthcare, sports and culture, non-profit organizations and charitable foundations.
