Krasnoyarsk woman ordered hallucinogenic lotus tea from abroad

At customs in Novosibirsk, a batch of narcotic tea ordered by a resident of Krasnoyarsk from abroad was seized. This was reported by the Siberian Customs Administration.
During customs control of express cargo, specialists discovered a parcel with 109 grams of “Lotus Petal Tea.”
The examination showed that the mixture contained blue lotus. This plant is included in the official list containing narcotic or psychotropic substances, and its import into Russia is strictly prohibited, writes Om1 Novosibirsk.
The goods have been seized. In relation to a customer from Krasnoyarsk, the Novosibirsk customs office opened a case of an administrative offense under the article on non-compliance with prohibitions when moving goods across the border.
