Meteorologists issued a yellow fog code on Monday, December 15, valid in three counties of the country. Otherwise, temperatures will be higher than normal for the period.

The National Meteorological Administration (ANM) has issued a yellow fog code valid until Monday at 10:00. The following counties are targeted:
- Gorj County: Târgu Jiu, Motru, Rovinari, Târgu Cărbunesti, Turceni, Bâlteni, Mătăsari, Bălești, Plopșoru, Șântăreni, Țicleni, Drăguțesti, Scoarţa, Turburea, Aninoasa, Cruset, Fărcășești, Negomir, Slivilești, Vladimir, Dănești, Bustuchin, Borăscu, Urdari, Văgiulești, Bolboși, Stoina, Logrești, Oejari, Dănciulești, Albeni, Brănești, Săulești, Drăgotesti, Cătunele, Licurici, Căpreni, Telești, Ionești, Berlești, Jupânești, Câlnic, Glogova, Hurezani, Bărbăști, Samarinști, Ciuperceni;
- Dolj County: Filiași, Argetoaia, Grecești, Secu;
- Mehedinți County: Strehaia, Corcova, Bala, Tâmna, Butoiești, Şișești, Bâcleș, Prunișor, Broșteni, Florești, Căzănești, Dumbrava, Grozești, Voloiac, Husnicioara, Breznița-Motru, Poroina Mare, Greci, Stângăceaua, Șovarna;
Otherwise, in the mountainous and submontane areas, the weather will be fine, with variable skies. In the rest of the country, the sky will be cloudy, and clouds will persist locally in the west, center and south. The wind will blow weak and moderate.
Maximum temperatures will be between 3 and 11 degrees, with the highest values in the southern hills. The minimum temperatures will be between -8 degrees in the depressions of the Eastern Carpathians and 3 degrees on the coast.
Especially in the morning and at night, there will be fog in the southern regions and locally in the rest of the country. The sky will be more cloudy, and there will be fog in the morning and at night.
The wind will be light to moderate.
In Bucharest, the maximum temperature will be 6…7 degrees, and the minimum -3…-1 degree.
