Luka Juricic (29 years old) left CFR Cluj in the summer. The Bosnian signed with Borac Banja Luka, a team from his native country. In Romania he did not adapt, taking into account the fact that he scored only 2 goals in 18 matches, but the top “exploded” in the new team.
And his numbers say it all: in the first 18 games of this season he scored 16 goals and provided 3 decisive assists.

On Sunday, Borac Banja Luka won decisively at home against Prijedor, score 3-0, and Juricic managed a “double”. He opened the scoring in the 42nd minute after converting a shot from 11 yards and made it 2-0 in the 59th minute after another penalty.
Borac Banja Luka is in first place in the Bosnian championship with 43 points after 18 rounds. It is 6 points ahead of Zrinjski, the 2nd place holder.
Juricic is the top scorer of the championship in Bosnia. On the 2nd place is Nemanja Bilbija, the striker from Zrinjski, with 7 successes.
The peak had reached CFR Cluj in the summer of 2023, from Pyunik Erevan, a formation from Armenia. Because he failed to establish himself in Gruia, the Bosnian striker was loaned to the formation from which he came, Pyunik, in 2024.
He played for CFR Cluj only in the 2023-2024 season. He made 18 appearances in all competitions and scored just two goals.
Luka Juricic also played for NK Neretvanac Opuzen (Croatia), Siroki Brijeg (Bosnia), NK Neretva Metkovic (Croatia), HNK Sibenik (Croatia), Zeljeznicar (Bosnia) and Gimpo FC (South Korea).
