Iuliu Muresan did not hide the major problems in the club:
“We gave a sum of money and staggered our debts, so we avoid insolvency. The club is not doing very well financially and we struggle every day to bring money to the club.
Unfortunately, the most important source remains the sale of players. The best, fittest ones are being sold, and I'm concerned that we don't have others of the same value.“
The CFR president revealed that three footballers have offers at the moment:
“There is a risk of insolvencybut I hope to avoid this situation. There are offers for three players, but if we give them all, who else am I playing with?
I hope that Louis will transfer to another club so that we can solve some problems. I think we can convince Varga to let Munteanu go, but we won't give him away for any amount. The amount at the end of the last championship was one, now it is lower, because his performance this season is not at the same level.
I say that if an offer of 5-6 million comes, it must be given, even if we were hoping for 7-8. There is one more condition: that he wants it too.”
