Patient stabbed by a salon colleague, in the premises of the TB Hospital in Brăila

A serious incident took place at the Brăila Pneumophthisiology Hospital, where a patient was stabbed by another patient, amid a spontaneous conflict.

According to representatives of the Brăila County Police Inspectorate, on December 13, 2025, around 10:20 a.m., the police were alerted by calling 112 by a doctor from the medical unit regarding the event.
At the scene, the law enforcement officers identified two people involved, hospitalized.
“The police went to the scene where they identified the two people, it being a 37-year-old man from the Șuțesti commune, admitted to the hospital, who, against the background of a spontaneous conflict, allegedly stabbed a 42-year-old man from the village of Miha-Bravu, also a patient in the hospital unit”IPJ Brăila transmitted.
Following the event, the 42-year-old man was transported to the emergency hospital for medical care.
The police are continuing their investigations to establish the exact circumstances in which the aggression took place, as part of an open criminal case for bodily injury.
Hospital representatives have not yet provided official statements.
