New five-thousandth banknotes have appeared in circulation
So far only in the Altai and Perm regions. They will appear more widely in the regions from November.
The old banknotes will be issued for a few more years, but gradually they will go out of circulation.
The front side depicts Yekaterinburg and the “Europe – Asia” stele. On the reverse side is the monument “Tale of the Urals” in Chelyabinsk.
