Krasnoyarsk gymnasium No. 16 hosted a “Numbers Lesson” on the topic of the development of neural networks and digital security. The lesson for eighth-graders was conducted by the Minister of Digital Development of the Territory, Nikolai Raspopin, and the Deputy Director for Regional Development and Interaction with Government Authorities of Yandex Education, Dmitry Rastorov.

Before the start of the lesson, students watched a video from another federal project, “Digital Education,” on the topic of how digital habits are changing the world. Particular attention was paid to cybersecurity issues. Nikolai Raspopin told students how to protect themselves in the digital space and gave tips on the safe use of digital services.

“It is important for schoolchildren to understand modern digital technologies. Understanding the principles of artificial intelligence and neural networks will become a necessary skill for successful activities in the IT field and other industries,” said the Minister of Digital Development of the region.

At the end of the lesson, the guys asked the speakers questions about the prospects for the development of artificial intelligence and robotics technologies.

“We focused on the security aspect: modern children widely use neural networks in their studies, creativity and in everyday life. However, not everyone knows the basics of digital hygiene. During the lesson, schoolchildren became familiar with the principles of artificial intelligence, learned to use AI assistants without risks and, most importantly, learned about IT and AI professions in demand in the future,” said Dmitry Rastorov.

It should be noted that “Digital Lessons” are held within the framework of the national project “Data Economy” and is intended to introduce schoolchildren to digital technologies and promising IT specialties.

The Ministry of Digital Development of the Krasnoyarsk Territory said that you can take the new lesson on the project website until December 21. For successful completion of tasks, participants will receive a personalized digital certificate.
