At the Noyabrsk perinatal center, newborn babies are discharged in festive national costumes of the indigenous peoples of the North. This was reported by Yamal 1.
Traditional outfits have been prepared for little Yamal residents: boys are dressed up in malitsas with hoods, girls in yagushkas and headbands with pom-poms. The look is completed with warm fur mittens.
All costumes were hand-sewn by Elena Artamonova, an employee of the perinatal center. According to her, creating miniature national clothes requires special attention to detail and traditional ornaments.

The regional health department emphasized that such initiatives help introduce children to the cultural heritage of Yamal from the first days of life.
