At least 10 violations of fire safety requirements were identified by specialists during the last inspection of the building of the former Moscow Electric Plant in 2021. Among them:
— The premises are not fully equipped with automatic fire protection equipment.
— Also, no maintenance or repair work was carried out on automatic fire protection equipment.
— The explosion and fire hazard category was not determined and incorrectly marked on the doors.
— The quality of fire-retardant treatment of load-bearing metal structures was not checked.
In 2007, the management of Elektrozavod moved production to Zelenograd and Ufa. Soon the premises inside the building began to be rented out. This is how dance studios, skate zones, a photo studio and much more appeared there. Artists often shoot clips there, take insta-videos and bloggers make videos.
