FC Botoșani and Rapid Bucharest ended in a tie on Monday evening, score 0-0, at the end of the 19th stage of the Romanian SuperLiga.

Giulești had the better chances, but they failed to score. For Costel Gâlcă's team, it was the fourth consecutive trip without victory, in all competitions.

The last success of the “white cherries” considered to be on foreign soil took place in the cup at the end of October, against CSC Dumbrăvița, when the match was actually also played in Giulesti.

Even so, Rapid remains the leader in the SuperLiga, with 39 points after 19 rounds.

Behind him is even FC Botoșani, with 37 points.

Dinamo Bucharest (35 p), Universitatea Craiova (34 p), FC Argeș (33 p) and UTA Arad (28 p) are also in the play-off zone.
