The country's authorities are now actively conducting checks on the legality of foreigners' presence on the island.
Some Russians have already been detained due to violations of migration rules. A family who had been living in the country illegally for almost a year was arrested.
If your visa has expired, you need to contact the migration services and notify the embassy.
