Today, from 15:00, the Abu Dhabi Formula 1 Grand Prix takes place. It's the last race of the season and the one that will decide the world champion. Lando Norris, Max Verstappen and Oscar Piastri fight for the big trophy.

Dutchman Max Verstappen will start from pole position. The Red Bull driver was fastest in Saturday's qualifying and will be followed by Britain's Lando Norris. The McLaren driver leads the overall standings, 12 points ahead, and needs a podium finish to become world champion for the first time.
The two will be followed by Oscar Piastri (McLaren) also with a chance at the world title. Then, George Russell, Charles Leclerc, Fernando Alonso, Gabriel Bortoleto, Esteban Ocon, Isack Hadjar and Yuki Tsunoda will leave the top 10.

Lando Norris (408 points) will secure his first title if he finishes ahead of both rivals Oscar Piastri and Max Verstappen or finishes on the podium.
Max Verstappen12 points behind Norris, needs a win. But it's not enough. His rival needs to miss out on a podium finish to win a fifth straight world title.
Oscar Piastri16 points out of first place, would need the win and for Norris to finish no higher than sixth. Regardless of where Max ranks.
