Yannick Alexandrescu, the Romanian number 5 in the junior world, announced that he will represent France from now on, writes News.ro.
“I am happy to announce that from now on I will represent France.
In addition to citizenship, French culture has been part of me since I was born.
From now on I will train in Paris, at the National Training Center.
I am proud and impatient to start this new chapter”, noted Alexandrescu on Instagram, in French.
“I would like to thank the Romanian Tennis Federation and all the people involved in my development over the years”, he added in Romanian.
Yannick Theodor Alexandrescu is 17 years old.
