Russia's massive attack on Ukraine. More than 60 drones hit the target


The Russian army carried out a combined attack on Ukraine's critical infrastructure facilities using strike unmanned aerial vehicles, air, sea and land missiles. In total, the Air Force radio engineering troops detected 704 air attack means – 51 missiles, including 17 ballistic ones, and 653 unmanned aerial vehicles of various types.

The air attack was repelled by Ukrainian aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

According to preliminary data, by 10 a.m. (9 a.m. Polish time), anti-aircraft defense shot down 615 air targets: 585 Russian unmanned aerial vehicles of the Shahed and Gerber type and 29 Kh-101/Iskander-K/Kalibr cruise missiles, one Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missile.

Missile and 60 strike unmanned aerial vehicle hits were recorded at 29 locations, as well as a decline in downed fragments at three locations.

Russian forces launched a massive missile and drone attack on most of Ukraine's oblasts on the night from Friday to Saturday. At least three people were injured in the Kiev region, the regional military administration said on Telegram.

The Ministry of Energy in Kiev announced that the Russian army attacked Ukraine's energy infrastructure, as a result of which electricity supplies were cut off to customers in the Odessa, Chernihiv, Kiev, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Mykolaiv oblasts.
