Manchester United managed only a draw with West Ham, 1-1, in the epilogue of the 14th round of the Premier League.

The “Devils” once again missed the opportunity to break into the Top 5 of the Premier League standings. Only 1-1 with West Ham after a game in which they opened the scoring through Diogo Dalot (min. 56), only to be equalized in the 83rd minute, following a goal scored by Magassa.

Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim looked very frustrated at the end in front of the cameras. The Portuguese blamed the semi-failure suffered on the defensive men.

Ruben Amorim: “They won a second ball against three of us in defence”

“We do our best to defend away from goal all the time, because we know they try to cross, get a corner. It happened, a long pass, they won a second ball against three of us in defense, so we have to improve from that point of view,” analyzed Amorim.

Starting at the start of the second half, when he brought on Leni Yoro for Ayden Heaven, the United manager made five changes, four of which were defensive. But he rejected the idea that the changes made would have destabilized the defense: “We lose on the second ball. That's the problem.”

Ruben Amorim assured the journalists that he will not break any more televisions

Journalists noted his frustration and agitation, but the Portuguese assured that his post-match mood is always steady, except when he smashed a TV in the 3-1 defeat to Brighton in January.

Ruben Amorim: “In this regard, I am always consistent. I had only one exception, after a game against Brighton last year. So I will talk to the players tomorrow and we will analyze the situation.”

Manchester United is in 8th place in the standings, with 22 points, one away from 5th place, currently occupied by Crystal Palace (23p). However, he has only one victory in the last 5 rounds of the Premier League.
