In the new season, the heroine Collins starred with a radically new hairstyle – having moved to Italy, she cut off her long curls, preferring a bob. The new season is scheduled to premiere on December 18.

In the new video, Collins' friend, singer and daughter of a Singaporean tycoon, singer Mindy Chen, played by American actress Ashley Jeannie Park, appears wearing a cap from Ukrainian designer Ruslan Baginsky.

The cost of this headdress on the brand’s website is almost 14 thousand UAH.

Context

The first season of Emily in Paris premiered on October 2, 2020. Netflix. According to the plot, Emily Cooper goes from Chicago to Paris instead of her boss, she begins a new life in Paris, in which not everything goes smoothly.

During the screening of the second season of the series in Ukraine, a scandal broke out, as the producers showed a new character in one of the episodes – a Ukrainian woman named Petra from Kyiv. Cooper meets her at a French language course, after which the girls go for a walk.

There is a moment in the series when Petra teaches the main character Emily to steal clothes from an expensive store, after which they run out of the boutique to Petra's shouts of “Tick!” After this, the main character, an American, shames the Ukrainian woman, declaring that the things need to be returned, to which Petra replies: “I can’t, I’ll be deported.”

This character outraged Ukrainian network users.
